Sharon ("Sherry") Ann Tabor passed away at home surrounded by her family on December 17, 2023 after a long, brave battle with ovarian cancer.

Sherry has always been full of life. She always wanted to see the good in things and make everyone around her feel special. She would want everyone not to mourn her death, but to celebrate her life. She would want everyone to remember the moments they share together with laughter and joy.

Sherry was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 4, 1944 the daughter of Mary Imogene Gillmore and Ernest Morris Reep. At a young age, her parents divorced, and her mother remarried Jack Owen West. Soon after, she went by Sharon Ann West and moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Sherry married the love of her life, Larry Tabor, in August of 1964 and lived in Stillwater, Oklahoma where Larry attended college while Sherry went to work. In 1966, they moved back to Oklahoma City to start their life. In August of 1967, Shelley Rae Tabor was born and in April of 1973, Mitchell Owen Tabor was born.

In 1984 sherry was able to connect with her biological father, Morris, his wife, Joanna, and found out that she was blessed with 6 more blood relatives: Chris Updegraff, Cindy Hall, Lori Harris, Gary Reep, Mark Reep and Jeff Reep. From that moment on, Sherry stayed in contact.

She has been blessed with 5 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren: Cason and Colter Wilson / Addison, Kellen and Carter Tabor / Thomas, Marlayna and Tristan Landry.

Sherry lived a full life with Larry getting to experience all kinds of adventures and being a more than stellar grandparent. She treated every day like it was more special than the last and treated everyone around her like they were the most special person in the world.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Jackie Lynn Russell. She is survived by her half-brothers and half-sisters, Chris Uptegraph, Cindy Hall, Lori Harris, Gary Reep, Mark Reep and Jeff Reep. She is survived by her 2 children: Shelley and her husband Eric Wilson; Mitch Tabor and his wife, Ashley. She is survived by her grandchildren and step-grandchildren: Cason and Colter Wilson/ Addison, Kellen and Carter Tabor / Thomas, Marlayna and Tristan Landry.

She will be truly missed, but never forgotten.
