Shaun passed away in Hobbs, New Mexico on April 6, 2021. He was born April 23, 1978 in Oklahoma City to Steve and Naomi (Greenroyd) St. Cyr. He was raised in Moore. Shaun excelled in sports from a young age. He played all sports but baseball was his favorite. He played baseball and football for Moore High School. He graduated from Moore in 1996 and received an athletic scholarship. After high school he attended at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami, Oklahoma. Shaun was a welder and worked for many companies in need of his services over the years. When Shaun wasn't working he enjoyed being outdoors. He loved going fishing in Branson, Missouri and farm ponds with his Dad, his papa Gene and papa Don his brother in law Matthew and Uncle Johnny. He also enjoyed deer hunting with his dad and family friend, Mike McCoy. Golfing was also on Shaun's list of favorite outdoor activities. He was an excellent golfer and loved playing the game with his friends. Shaun will always be remembered for his laugh and smile and his beautiful blue eyes, and his knowledge of baseball stats. He will be missed by his family, friends, and past teammates.
