A memorial service to celebrate Sheila's life will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Vondel L. Smith Mortuary at South Lakes Chapel.
Sheila Jean (Tate) Walls, 71, passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her husband for over 40 years, along family and friends on June 4th, 2022 in Yukon, Oklahoma. Shelia was born in Memphis, Tennessee, December 30, 1950 to James and Rosa (Robinson) Tate. She grew up with her sisters, Gale, Gaetana, Margo and her brother, Roy. She attended schools throughout the south and after high school she landed a job at the Hilton Memphis where she met the love of her life, Mr. Lee Earl Walls. The two moved to California in the 1980's. Sheila worked in accounting departments for many companies over the years. Sheila made countless friends and lasting memories during her career.
In her spare time, Sheila enjoyed her church and church family. She took part in so many jobs at her church. She cooked countless meals for the homeless, and the widowers, as well as, the elders. She also sent out personal encouraging messages to over 100 people until her last "Amen".

Sister, Margo Cummings and her daughter, Angie who helped with her care;
Brother, Roy Tate;
And a host of nieces, nephews, close friends, and family.
