Shelia Ann Pendergraft joined her Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the age of 73. The daughter of Margaret (Crain) and Adrian Jeffcoat, Shelia was born August 31, 1948 in Ft Smith, Arkansas. Shelia spent her early childhood in Hitchcock, Oklahoma with her loving grandmother before later moving to Oklahoma City, where she attended and graduated from Capitol Hill High School. Shelia worked as a licensed beautician for several years before working alongside the love of her life, her husband, Pastor J.T. Pendergraft in ministry at Maranatha Baptist Church and Christian Academy for 22 years. While in ministry, they travelled extensively sharing the Gospel, making many wonderful lifelong friends and memories along the way. This union of marriage was blessed with 35 blissful years of marriage, abundant joy and growing family until J. T.'s death in 2003. She was an active and faithful member of Southwest Baptist Church since 2006, where she taught a Ladies Sunday School class and worked in the deaf ministry. Shelia later worked as a Clinical Supervisor for Integris Health where she retired in 2018. In her spare time, Shelia enjoyed going swimming, painting, making beautiful art, and using her skills performing sign language. Shelia truly exemplified the characteristics of Proverbs 31 woman. She dedicated her life to faithfully loving and serving the Lord, her family and others wholeheartedly.

Half-brother, Gordon Jeffcoat;
Half-sister, Liz Jeffcoat;
9 Grandchildren: Justin Pittman, Lindsay Pittman, Casey Pittman and wife, Cortney, Brady Ghaniabadi, Mason Ghaniabadi, Charlie Ghaniabadi, Allison Hansen, Madeline Hansen and Caelyn Hansen;
Great granddaughter, Amelia Reid Pittman

Visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday at Vondel L. Smith Mortuary 6934 S. Western OKC 73139. Services to celebrate & honor her life will be held 10 AM Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021at Southwest Baptist Church, 1300 S W 54th St OKC 73119. Those unable to attend may join services via livestream at https://live.swbaptist.org. The family respectively requests all those attending events to practice social distancing.
