Obituary

Sheryl Morrison Auringer, born August 25, 1956, passed with dignity and peace January 2, 2009. Sheryl lived her life the way she wanted to be remembered. She set an excellent example of how to live and leave this world with grace. Sheryl had more friends and loving relatives than can be listed. She attended Carl Albert High School, class of 1974, traveled, loved dancing, OU Football and was a rabid sports mom. She was a professional in the insurance industry and retired from Jim Evans Agency of Moore. For the last five years Sheryl was the force behind "The Men of Oklahoma Calendar" for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. She was honored for her work with the foundation and inspired many others touched by cancer. Her philosophy was "Live, Love, Laugh" and she looked upon her impending passing as another adventure.
She touched many lives and is survived by:
• her loving husband Dennis;
• three sons Jason Randall and his wife Holly, Austin Auringer, and Dillon Auringer and fiancé Chante' Felts.
• three grandchildren: Cale Randall, Abigail Randall, and Reinan Auringer.
• mother and father James and Margie Morrison;
• sisters Jamie Talley and husband Rocky Talley, and Marcie Mitchell and husband Ron Mitchell.
• She will continue to be the guardian angel to her beloved nephews: Clifton Talley, Robby Comes, Evan Talley, Quinton Talley, Landon Comes, and Jacob Comes.
