Obituary

A Memorial Service to celebrate Shirlene's life will be at 10 AM Friday, June 26, 2026, at Southwest Church of Christ, located at 3031 SW 104th Street, Oklahoma City, OK

Lotus “Shirlene” Huffman, fondly known to her dear family and friends as Shirlene, was born August 27, 1933, in Chickasha, Oklahoma to parents, James Opal and Verna Grace (Givens) Eskridge. She passed away on June 22, 2026, at her residence. Shirlene married Richard “Dick” Huffman and together they raised their three children. She worked for a short time as a secretary for the church before deciding to focus on raising her family. Shirlene had a very outgoing personality and enjoyed watercolor painting, playing dominoes, and was a Thunder fanatic. She loved attending and being involved in church. Shirlene’s most valued time was spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard “Dick” Dale Huffman; and a great grandson, Logan Edward Rigsby. Shirlene leaves cherished memories with her daughters, Terri L. Davis and Becky Huffman; son, David Huffman and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Melody and husband, Jorge, Matthew Rigsby, Michael Rigsby and wife, Rebecca, Kyleigh Huffman, and Tessa Hartert and husband, Greg; great grandchildren, Kaitlynn Rigsby, Jaxson Rigsby, Ava Rigsby, Molly Rigsby, and Maryn Hartert; and many other family and loved ones.
