Stafford Lynn McCumber of Blanchard, Ok, passed away Friday, January 20 2012 at 3:15 am of natural causes at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, Ok. Lynn was born in Maricaibo, Venezuela on April 25, 1957 to Stafford and Lou McCumber. He was preceded in death by his father, younger brother and grandparents. He is survived by his wife Debbie, mother Lou, 3 sons Clint McCumber, Sean and Josh Wheeler, daughter Lindsay Tizzio, son-in-law Michael Tizzio and 2 granddaughters Makayla and Katelynn Tizzio. As well as, many other family and friends.

After finishing his education, lynn went on to a job as a police officer, starting in Davis, OK and moved on to a career he loved with the Oklahoma City Police Department, where he retired in 2003. After retirement he worked as an investigator at Garrett Law Firm and Maples Law. He was a very charismatic man. He loved his family and numerous friends, who were all his extended family.

The funeral service will be Friday, January 27th at Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 7301 S Walker at 2pm. With internment at Heritage Burial Park at South Lakes, 4000 SW 119th, Oklahoma City, OK. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Stafford L McCumber Support Trust at Mid First Bank. Funds will be used to offset medical bills. Any remaining funds will be donated to a Heart Transplant Fund.
