Stanley, 89, went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2015. The son of Frank & Hazel May (Sheldon) Lesser, Stanley was born August 23, 1925 in Tonkawa, OK. Stanley faithfully served his country during WW II in the U. S. Navy, after the navy he retired from Tinker AFB. He married the love of his life, Dorothy "Dottie" Jean (Sutton) Lesser on August 9, 1947 and together shared many wonderful years together. His most special time was that spent with his family & friends. Stanley is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Hazel Lesser; brother, Frank Sheldon Lesser & grandson, Allan Arnold. He leaves behind his loving wife of the home, Dottie Lesser; 2 daughters Gaytra Arnold (Leonard) & Stephanie Jackson (Mike); grandchildren: Lauri Korstjens (Daryn), Allison Woodard & Eric Woodard (Katy); great grandchildren: Dylan Powers & Will Woodard and numerous other loving family and friends. The family is deeply grateful to the Veteran Center in Norman, to Derek Campbell and the other caregivers with Heartland Hospice for taking such great care of Stanley.
