Obituary

Stephen "Steve" Daniel Collier passed away on November 3, 2025, in Pompano Beach, Florida.  He was born on April 5, 1963 in Portsmouth Naval Hospital, VA to Wesley and Marilyn Collier while his father served in the Navy.

Steve was a beloved son and brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and cherished friend.  He touched the lives of many, and his memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him.

In high school Steve learned his love of music and speech.  He won State in Speech and performed in many school musicals. He showed a lamb in FFA.  He also played football while he attended Mangum High School.

Steve moved to Florida to help run a Salvation Army retail thrift store.  His passion for working motivated him to become one of their best managers in whichever store he was managing.   He had a gift for helping people by giving them the best deals.

Those closest to Steve remember his love of family, his laugh and the warmth he brought to a room.  He was a devoted friend and confidant, always willing to go the extra mile to help those around him. His hobbies reflected his passion for life whether it was his GREAT passion for sports especially any with OU.  He had a joy for travel and walks, especially on the beach.

Steve is survived by his mother and father, Wesley and Marilyn Collier of Oklahoma City, his brother Mike and wife Josie Collier of Auburn, CA, his brother, Rodney and his wife Yolonda Collier of Yukon. Steve's nephew Hunter Collier and niece Summer Collier of Yukon, OK, and nephew Mauro Valdovinos and Vivian Valovinos of Auburn, CA.  He has many other relatives and friends.
