Stephen Mark Parker, 67, passed from this life on Friday, March 27, 2026. Born December 29, 1958, he was the son of A.W. Parker and Nancy Lee (Presley) Hearod. Stephen spent many years serving others through various food service positions before later transitioning to work in a family business. He enjoyed listening to music of all kinds but especially loved the songs of Hank Williams Jr. A lifelong learner at heart, Stephen was particularly fascinated by history, with a special interest in the Civil War. Above all else, Stephen treasured time spent with his family. He was a devoted father and devoted many years to the care of his mother who he cherished. His grandchildren were the true lights of his life and brought him immeasurable joy. He was preceded in death by his father, A.W. Parker. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Nancy Hearod; his son, Joey Parker; his daughter, Amanda Wert, and her spouse, Jennifer; his brother, Tim Parker, and spouse, Eileen; his grandchildren, Aidan Parker, Addyson Parker, Asher Wert, and Jett Wert; along with many other loved ones and dear friends.
