Steven "Travis" Steger, 62 , of Moore passed away Friday, March 15th, 2024 at Norman Regional Hospital, with his family by his side.

Travis was born in Oklahoma City on June 24, 1961 to John Robert and Phyllis Marie Steger. Travis was raised in Moore, Oklahoma and graduated from Moore High School in 1979.

Travis married Shelley Harwell, his high school sweetheart, in 1982 and they were blessed with 3 daughters, Shayna, Sierah and Shiloh.

He began his career at Tinker Air force Base in 1983. Travis made great memories with his colleagues over the years and many lasting friendships. In 2016, after 33 years, Travis retired from Tinker had remained friends with many of his co-workers.

In his spare time, Travis enjoyed golfing, grilling, gambling, and spending time with friends and family.

Travis will be missed deeply by his family but will always be remembered for his infectious laughter.
