IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Steven Paul
Stills
July 9, 1954 – October 4, 2024
Steven Paul Stills
July 9, 1954 ~ October 4, 2024
Steven Paul Stills, 70, passed away with his loving & devoted wife Nikki by his side on Friday, October 4, 2024 at the OKC Veterans Hospital. Steven was born July 9, 1954 in Hempstead, Long Island, New York on the Mitchel U.S. Military Base. He spent his formative years with his step-dad, Don Stills at Eufaula, Oklahoma, enjoying hunting, fishing and honing his shooting skills to prepare him for his service to our country that he loved so much. His family returned to Edmond, Oklahoma where he attended Edmond Memorial High School and graduated in 1971. Right after his graduation, Steven enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant as one of the most prolific shooters during the Vietnam Conflict. Steven was also actively involved in the airlift evacuation of Saigon in 1973. After serving in Vietnam, Steven transferred to the Airwing to finish his Marine Corps career at a RIO on Harrier jump jets and a CDI inspector. Steven was honorably discharged from active duty in 1977 and served in the Reserves until 1979. Upon his return to Oklahoma following his military service, Steven began working in the body shop business as an automotive body and fender man for Smokey Davidson Dodge in Oklahoma City. He eventually worked his way up the ladder becoming shop manager before going out on his own to open "Fiber and Fender Body Shop" in Edmond, Oklahoma. Steven successfully owned and operated his business until he retired and moved to Melbourne, Florida in 1996 and remained until moving back to Edmond, Oklahoma in 1999. Steven married the love of his life, Nikki Muzny, on February 13, 2003 and together they shared a passion for the open road riding their Harley-Davidson motorcycles on numerous road trips including several to Sturgis and Daytona. Steven will be remembered for his dry sense of humor and his unwavering and steadfast loyalty to his family and friends. Once Steven got to know someone personally, there was nothing he wouldn't do for you. He will be deeply missed each day and we are forever blessed to have known him.
