Steven Allen Wheeler

January 5, 1954 ~ March 24, 2025

Steven Allen Wheeler, fondly known at Steve by his family and friends, went to be with his Heavenly Father on March 24, 2025 at the age of 71. The son of Patricia Dale (Lamar) and Melvin E. Wheeler, was born on January 5, 1954 (Bartlesville, Oklahoma). Steve grew up attending schools in the Bartlesville area and graduated from Bartlesville High School in 1972. After graduation, Steve attended college at The University of Central Oklahoma where he studied Mortuary Science. On April 20, 1973 Steve married his one true love, Patricia Rae Barnhart and together shared more than 52 years of marriage together. This union of marriage was blessed with two children. In addition to being a loving husband and devoted father, Steve provided for his family as a truck driver and worked for more than 35 years before retiring in January 2019. Steve was very passionate about cars and traveling, but nothing was as important as being with his family whom he loved with all of his heart. Steve will be fondly remembered as a kind, loving generous, man. He loved and cared deeply for his family and he will be held close to our hearts each day. He was preceded in death by his:Parents; Steve leaves behind his loving family: Wife of 52 years, Patricia Wheeler of Oklahoma City; Son Chad Wheeler and wife, Joy of Bethany, Oklahoma; Daughter and Son-in-law, Brandi Moreton and husband, Dayne; #4 of Grandchildren: Rachael, Patrick, Dillon and Teagan #5 of Great Grandchildren Many other extended family & friends.
