Stuart Aubrey Daniels, 69, of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

Stuart was born in Brawley, CA, on July 2, 1955, to Othor and Wanda (Everett) Daniels and was the family's oldest child. Othor and Wanda moved often due to his job as a preacher. During their time in San Rafael, CA, Stuart enjoyed playing football, running track, and pole vaulting. During this time, he met the love of his life, Susan, at a local church. Stuart and Susan would marry soon after high school. Stuart began working as a carpenter, which led to his and Susan's own business, Precision Casework & Trim, now approaching 40 years in operation. Stuart was always proud of the work they completed, including The Grand Palace in Branson, MO, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, along with countless hotels, hospitals, schools, and casinos, as well as various projects at the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University.

Stuart enjoyed supporting OU football, fishing, camping, traveling, boating, and tending to things around his properties. He enjoyed taking his kids to many activities, including lake weekends at Eufaula, Texoma, and Murray. Stuart's famous words while speeding across the water were, "Put the hammer down!" or "Hit it, ski king!" This love for lake life led Stuart and Susan to purchase a lake property at Lake Murray. His passion for the water always led him to trips to the Pacific Ocean to reminisce on meeting Susan or the Caribbean Islands. Later, he and Susan moved to Wynnewood, OK, where they raised longhorn cattle and two miniature donkeys. Stuart loved to have his grandkids, Boston and Mattison, at the ranch to spend time fishing, going on "deet deet" rides, and enjoying all the things ranch life had to offer.

Stuart is preceded in death by his parents, Othor and Wanda Daniels, and his beloved dog, Lucky. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Susan Daniels; daughter, Carrie Daniels; son, Matt Daniels (& wife April); grandchildren, Boston and Mattison; sisters, Tammy Yager (& husband Jan) and Terri Graham (& husband Tom); many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, friends, and his dog Blue.

Stuart was known for being generous, funny, loyal, ornery (at times), the life of the party, and a great friend. He will be missed by many.
