Susan Gayle Leggett was born on May 25, 1940, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She passed away on September 27, 2026, joining her Lord and Savior, her beloved husband, Bill, and her son, Kent. Susan graduated from Harding High School in 1958 and treasured the opportunity to reconnect with classmates at reunions throughout the next 68 years. She attended Oklahoma State University and remained a devoted Cowboys fan. As a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, she formed many lifelong friendships. Susan began working at Bullard & Associates in 1999 and continued working there until her passing at age 86. Susan loved people and delighted in conversation with family, friends, and complete strangers alike. Her generous heart and wonderful sense of humor touched many lives, and she will be dearly missed. Susan is survived by her daughter, Lesli Leggett; her grandsons, Axton William Edward Leggett and Christian Scott Leggett; her chosen daughter, Shelby Mangham; and the many cherished members of her lake family. Susan was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William “Bill” Leggett; their son, Kent Edward Leggett; and her parents, Edward and Mildred Juday.

Susan's service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday October 6, 2026 at Vondel L Smith & Son Mortuary South Lakes Chapel, 4000 SW 119th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73173, with interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery, 500 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73139.
