Timothy David Peek, 42, of Oklahoma City died Tuesday November 23, 2021 of cancer. He was born on March 5, 1979 in Kingfisher, OK to George and Barbara Peek. Tim grew up in El Reno, OK where after attending high school, he worked as a welder before delivering home health medical equipment for over eleven years. On September 1, 2000 Tim's daughter Zoë Blane was born. In the fall of 2001, Tim met the love of his life, Valerie, and the two began dating on New Year's Day, 2002. Tim and Valerie married on March 21, 2006 in Las Vegas.
Tim had many hobbies and interests throughout his life, from remote controlled cars and model airplanes to wood working, gardening, brewing beer, Rubik's cube mastering, painting, photography and adventuring with his loved ones. One of his biggest passions in life was taking to the open road on his bike. Tim was a genius and an all-around fixer, he would fix up old cars, scooters, and motorcycles; he was also known for flipping bikes in his garage for over a decade prior to working at Wheeler Dealer Bicycle shop doing what he loved most.
Tim was a humble and kind man and was a friend to everyone he met. He was funny, brilliant, a proud devoted father, loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and a best friend to many.
Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents Bill & Stazie Vieweg, and Lillie & Norwood Peek.
He is survived by his wife, Valerie; his daughter, Zoë; parents, George & Barbara Peek; brothers, Brian Peek & wife, Diana; Justin Peek; sister, Brenda Kirby; nieces, Stazie, Brittney, Tonya, and Caelyn; uncle, Bill Vieweg & wife, Peggy; his father and mother in-law, John & Rose Miller; brother-in-law, Vincent Miller; brother-in-law, Chris Miller & his wife, Lisa and their children, Keegan, Logan, & Liam; special friends, Russ and Tim; his dogs Mia and Sophie, and his beloved cat-son, Douglas Boulevard.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the OU Stephenson Cancer Center, and Integris Hospice House for all of the care and love they provided to Tim during his treatments.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to encourage donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Tim's memory.
