Obituary

Tracy Morgan passed away in Oklahoma City on November 27 at the age of 66. Tracy was born to Rex and Betty Mitchell Morgan and grew up on the family farm in Hollister until the family moved to Frederick. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, attended Frederick public schools, and was active in sports and an honors student.

Tracy attended Oklahoma State University. Upholding the Morgan legacy, he pledged the Beta Theta Pi fraternity and served as treasurer. In 1979, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, and began his career with Mistletoe Express. Later he returned to higher education, received a Master of Accountancy from the University of Oklahoma in 1990 and joined Ernst & Young.

In 1992, Tracy and SueLynn moved to Duncan, OK, where he owned several businesses, including a CPA practice. Tracy would later become a partner in a public accounting firm in Oklahoma City and had recently returned to his own practice.

Tracy had a wide variety of interests and was always Loyal & True to OSU and Beta Theta Pi. He loved going to OSU football games, OKC Thunder, celebrating major birthdays with Scott and Michelle, and traveling around the world with SueLynn. He would do anything for his Beta brothers and loved spending time with them at OSU games, reunions, and casual gatherings.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, SueLynn; brother Scott (Debbie), Tulsa; sister Michelle, Dallas, TX; brother-in-law John Brockman (Marcella), Paris, TX; sister-in-law Marydith Williams (Paul), Tulsa, OK; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
