Velma Bruce went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 1st, 2026 at the age of 85. The daughter of Homer Cagle and Ora Mae Lloyd, she was born December 13th, 1940 in Catoosa, Oklahoma. She graduated from High School in Georgetown, Texas in 1958.  She married Clarence Bruce on November 18th, 1995 and together shared more than 30 years of marriage together.  In addition to being a loving wife, devoted mother and dedicated homemaker, Velma also worked as an Executive Assistant for Hadson Oil for many years before her retirement.  Velma was very passionate about fishing and puzzles, but nothing was as important as being with her family whom she loved with all of her heart. Velma was known for her intelligence, empathy, and compassion and will be fondly remembered as a soft spoken and loving woman. She loved and cared deeply for her family and she will be held close to our hearts each day.
