Obituary
Vern Lee Crossman, Jr., 83, a resident of Oklahoma City, passed away May 7, 2009. Born September 28, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri to Jeannette and Vern L. Crossman, Sr. Vern honorably served his country in the US Marines during WWII, having fought in Iwo Jima Campaign, Pacific Theatre and Occupation of Japan. After 30 years of dedicated service, Vern retired from Tinker AFB, where he worked in civil service. A member of Agnew Baptist Church, Vern was also an active member of NARFE Chapter #1176, American Legion Post #35 and the AM VET Post #99.

Vern is survived by:
• His friend, Bobby Jack Wright;
• And the staff of Mission Hospice and Care Living Center.
