Vinita Mae Calton joined Heaven's angels on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the age of 91. The daughter of Howard and Myrtle (Shackles) Wheeler, Vinita was born April 2, 1926 in Elmore City, Oklahoma. September 1, 1940, Vinita married her sweetheart, Frank Calton and together shared many wonderful years of marriage and raising their five beautiful daughters and two sons. Vinita dedicated her life to providing a warm and loving home for her family and caring for their needs. Vinita had a sweet, gentle spirit that touched many lives. She will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her: Parents; Husband, Frank Calton; Son, Gary Calton. She leaves behind her loving family: Son, Danny Calton; Daughter, Kay Riggs; Daughter, Candy Jones; Daughter, Sharon Wilson; Daughter, Kathy Schramko; Daughter, Sheila Calton Davis; Many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and other loving family and friends.
