GALINDO, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 27, 2011 at the age of 91. She was born on Feb. 17, 1920 to Felice and Juanita Martinez in Lawton, OK. Preceding her in death were her parents; her loving husband Manuel of 52 years; one son, Manuel; one daughter, Mary Helen Hoffman. Also going before her were her brother, Manuel Martinez; sister, Francis Rios; and grandson, John David Codrey. She leaves behind a large and loving family including daughters, Carlota Sharpe and husband Paul, Cecilia Codrey and husband John, Eva Hixson and husband Tony, and Rachel Espolt and husband Steve. She also leaves 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. They would also like to express their gratitude to Virginia's wonderful caregivers.
