Virginia Lee Hamrick,( Jenny) 97, joined the love of her life in heaven just one year and three days later on October 13, 2023. She was born December 18, 1925 in Bison, Oklahoma to Hurshel and Merea Davis. Jenny married Charles Hamrick on July 1, 1950 and together raised a beautiful family. She was the wife of a veteran and she enjoyed it very much. In their early years of marriage they lived in many states around the U.S due to his military career. Jenny enjoyed sitting at her table in the mornings looking out to the pool and watching the squirrels. Some of her favorite things to do was sewing and cooking and she was very good at both. She was also an avid Thunder fan and her granddaughter Michelle took her to a game for her 90th birthday which she enjoyed very much. She knew the difference between 2 pointers and 3 pointers. These games were a highlight in her life. However, her greatest highlight was her family who will love her and miss her always. Preceded in death by her parents, Hurshel and Merea Davis; husband, Charles Hamrick and son Mark Hamrick . She leaves cherished memories with her daughter, Brenda Lucero and her husband Howard; her grandchildren Michael Hamrick, Jaime Holdcroft, Valarie Lucero, Michelle Davis and Andre Lucero; her great grandchildren, Eliyahu Holdcroft, Gabriel Holdcroft, Haley Nail, Mei Lee Hamrick, Addison Davis, Mason Lucero and Landon Lucero.

Viewing will be held 4-8 PM Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Vondel Smith Mortuary North (13125 N. MacArthur Blvd). Graveside services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
