IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Virginia Lee
Holleyman
April 2, 1933 – January 3, 2023
Virginia Lee (Howell) Holleyman went to be with her Lord, January 3, 2023, at the age of 89. She died peacefully in her home with the love of her life by her side. Virginia was born April 2, 1933, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Ed and Lona Mae (Presley) Howell.
Virginia was raised in Okmulgee, where she graduated from high school, and also fell in love with her sweetheart. She married Homer Dexter Holleyman on April 22, 1951, where they made their first home in Cushing, Oklahoma. She gave birth to a son and while raising him, Virginia went to beautician school. She loved being a wife and mother, however being a beautician completed her life. She did what she loved as a beautician and beauty salon owner for 30 years. During this time, she also became the mother to a beautiful daughter. The family later moved to Tulsa where Virginia continued doing what she loved most in operating her own beauty salon. She later retired at the age of 60 where she enjoyed her last years, close to her family in Oklahoma City. The family were active members of the Church of Christ.
Virginia is survived by her husband of 71 years, Dexter; Her son, Randy Holleyman and his wife Ronda; Her daughter, Regina Phillips; Her grandchildren, Broc Holleyman, Bary Holleyman, Jason Munier, Justin Munier, Jeremy Munier and Koby Smith; Her 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
