Obituary
Wanda L. Cary, Our dear sweet mother left this earth for Heaven on Nov. 16, 2009. She was born Oct. 11, 1932, the first of four children to Lester and Lorene Wiginton. She graduated from Bray High as Salutatorian. Wanda married and moved to Duncan, OK where she started her career with Southwestern Bell. After moving her family to Norman and later to OKC, she retired as a manager in Operator Services in 1979. Wanda was a dedicated member of the First Freewill Baptist Church, where she professed her faith in Christ through believer's baptism. She was a kind, caring mother, sister, daughter, Sugarbear and friend. Gardening, visiting with friends and relatives, and sharing her love with her family were among her greatest joys. Wanda was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother; children, Monte Cary of Austin, TX, Darenda and Mike McCarty of Ardmore, OK, Tena and Neal Zaloudik of OKC; special mother, Jewel Hayes; a brother, 2 sisters, 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many close friends and relatives. In the garden of life, we were blessed
with a perfect rose. Viewing will be today from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Vondel Smith South Lakes Chapel. Friends may sign the guest book and leave condolences at www.vondelsmithmortuary.com
