Wanda Jean (Swindell) Hollis went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 19, 2015 at the age of 83. She was born August 22, 1931 in Maysville, Oklahoma to Weldon Orial and Lillie Mae (Sims) Swindell. She was a 68 year resident of Oklahoma City, coming from Maysville, Oklahoma. Wanda worked many years as the store manager for Braum's at 39th & South Pennsylvania, a job she thoroughly enjoyed and in her later years she worked in clerical services and care giving for DHS. Wanda was a member of the resident council at South Pointe Nursing Home. She was a very jolly, social and likeable person who loved people, music and singing. She was also a Bridge Master, enjoyed all card games, and was an avid bowler. She was devoted to her family and leaves behind precious memories with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed. Wanda was preceded in death by her: Parents; Husband ~ Emeree; Sons ~ Robert W. Gray and Rodney A. Hollis; Sisters ~ Sylvia Kirkland, Dorothy Boyd, Lucille Gilbert and Ethel Myers; Brother ~ Buddy Swindell; and Granddaughter ~ Melissa Hollis. She is survived by her: Sons ~ Neal Gray and wife, Vicki, David Gray, Rick Hollis and wife, Tamie, and Randy Hollis and wife, Renee; God-daughter ~ Pam Townley; Sisters ~ Margie Jackson and Colene "Cokie" Turner; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, and A multitude of friends.
