Warren 'Everett' Owens Jr, age 78, a resident of Oklahoma City for all of his life, was called to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 23rd, 2021. He was born on September 1st, 1942 to Warren & Fairlene Owens. Everett married his high school sweetheart, Pat, on April 22nd, 1961 and was married for 45 years preceding her death in 2006. He later married Shelly Mowder of Oklahoma City and they have been married for 14 years. Everett was a hard working and dedicated father to all 12 of his children. He was very proud to have 39 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Everett was a faithful servant and devoted member of the Church of the Firstborn for 60 years. He served as a preacher as well as numerous other capacities with his church. He was the best handyman you could ever find and taught his children to be loyal, hard workers. There was nothing he couldn't fix! No job was too big or small for his many skills. He had a deep love for tractors and farming. Everett never met a stranger and cherished the many friends he acquired over the years. He is survived by his wife Shelly Owens of the home and his 12 children and spouses; Michael & Cindy, Brenda Owens, David & Ronnie, Timmy & Shonna, Melanie Owens, Nathan & Joanna, Diane & Earl DeVore, Aaron & Casey, Andrea & Sterling Beecroft, Kevin, Warren, and Mary Owens. He is also survived by his siblings Rosetta & husband Charles McWaters, Lindell & Regina Owens, Kenny & Vanessa Owens, Kathy Owens, and Karen Owens. His celebration of life service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 27 at the South Colonial Chapel with interment to follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Wheatland, OK.
