William "Bill" Chase Bateman, Jr., was born December 2, 1948, in Providence, Rhode Island, the son of William Chase and Janet Marie (Ward) Bateman. He completed this life on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at the age of 74.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents; his step-son, Adam Shannon; and his nephew, Chris Alexander.

Bill is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Scott Bateman; his sister, Maureen Alexander, and her husband, Phillip, of Bradenton, FL.

Private interment was in Greenhill Cemetery, Muskogee, OK.
