William Elvis Dibler, 88, passed from this life Saturday, August 7, 2015. He was born November 28, 1926 the son of William O. and Winnie E. (Honeycutt) Dibler at Jacktown, Ok. Mr. Dibler spent most of his childhood in the White Rock and Meeker area, graduating from Meeker High School in 1945. In 1950 he enlisted in the US Army and was stationed at Ft. Riley, Kansas before serving 2 years in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He married Wanda Faye Donnell of Mustang, OK April 18, 1953 who preceded him in death July 29, 1999. William retired Tinker Air Force Base after 32 years of civil service. He was preceded in death by: • his parents; • brothers, Gilbert and Berry; • and sisters, Ethel, Dessie, and Louise. William leaves cherished memories with: • his brother, Larry Dibler and wife Nancy of Choctaw, OK; • sister, Joyce Simon and husband Royce of Tecumseh, OK; • many nephews, nieces, cousins, and other loved ones.
