William "Bill" Frank Colvin
November 8, 1942 ~ January 5, 2024
William Frank Colvin, fondly called "Bill" by his family and friends, entered Heaven's gates with his wife, Norma there to greet him, on the early morning hours of Friday, January 5, 2024. Bill was 81 years old. The son of Beatrice (Manning) and Ralph Austin Colvin, Sr., Bill was born on November 8, 1942 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Bill grew up in Oklahoma City. He met a beautiful young woman by the name of Norma Jean Marlar. They were united in marriage on August 2, 1963 and together shared more than 58 years of marriage before Norma's passing on January 16, 2021. This union of marriage was blessed with a son, Eric and a daughter, Lisa. Family was the heart of everything Bill lived for. He provided a comfortable and loving home for his family by working as an electrical and mechanical electrician for many years. In 1992, Bill and his son, Eric opened Colvin Motorcycle Company where he continued putting his excellent skills to use designing, fabricating and repairing motorcycles. Bill shared a passion for motorcycle racing with his son and grandson. Nothing could make Bill's eyes sparkle and shine brighter than his children and especially his grandson, Brayden. A man of many talents meant Bill was often times a man of few words, but when Bill spoke, everyone was sure to be listening. He had a way with words, whether it was telling a joke or story, sharing a memory or teaching a lesson. Bill lived a quiet, simple and full life and he will be remembered fondly by those who knew him. Bill was loved by all and will be missed each day!
