Bill, 56, passed away May 25, 2012 at the V.A. Hospital in OKC, following a lengthy illness. Bill was born in Frankfurt-Main, Germay on May 12, 1956 to Carol Louise and Bobby Joe Davis. He graduated from Ada High School and went on to attend East Central University. During his time at ECU he was a member of the ROTC Rifle Corp and was a Pike (Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity member.) After graduating college he joined the US Army where he attained the rank of Captain & was a Field Artillery Officer. He completed the Advanced Officers Course & Paratrooper Training. After his honorable discharge in 1982 Bill worked for the Little Axe School system as a Math and Computer Science Teacher. He was also a Curriculum Editor for American Education Corporation, an educational software company. At the time of his death he was substituting for Norman Public Schools. Bill was a martial artist in Tai Chi Chuan, White Sash 3rd degree & an instructor; he loved Celtic music, military history, Chinese martial art history. Bill was an avid reader who enjoyed studying the Bible & books about the Bible, any works by C. S. Lewis, Tolkien, Science Fiction & the classics. His other hobbies included guns, woodworking, camping, playing pool & traveling with Mikki. Bill was an active member of First Baptist Church Moore working with the Singles Ministry. Bill loved all of his family & was especially proud to be a grandpa. His hope & dream was that all his family would come to a personal intimate relationship with Jesus Christ & that they would live to glorify Him.
