IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William Lee
Kilgore
September 28, 1930 – May 14, 2023
William Kilgore went to his Heavenly home to be with his Savior on May 14, 2023 at the age of 92. The son of Zeak and Ina (Sullivan) Kilgore, William was born on September 28, 1930 in Atoka County (Potubby), Oklahoma. On June 8th, 1951, William married his one true love, Armildia Ruth Spry and shared almost 72 years of marriage. Through the years, they were blessed with two children, four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. In addition to honorably serving his country in the US Army Reserves, William worked for the Oklahoma State Department of Public Welfare for more than 40 years. Upon retirement from the welfare department, Bill immediately continued his heart of service for the Lord not only as a Deacon and Usher, he volunteered at various churches as a volunteer worker and led with many construction and building projects. When they moved to Sulphur, Bill plugged in there leading projects which included, maintenance on a Falls Creek cabin which was in great need of repair. The church quickly realized his talent and need to serve in that capacity. At the church he led the remodeling of the kitchen, gym and other projects. Upon returning to Oklahoma City, Bill joined Southern Hills Baptist Church, where he enjoyed fellowshipping with and serving others. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
