William Leo Rard, 85, passed from this life Tuesday, June 28, 2022. He was born May 3, 1937 in Antlers, Oklahoma the son of Julius Augusta and Mary Ellen (Oliver) Rard. William proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He married Loretta Jane Willmette and together they raised their son and daughter. William enjoyed farming, race cars, and watching westerns. He was a member of St. James the Greater Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Loretta J. Rard; 5 sisters, Marie, Ruth, Honey, Dorothy, and Allen; 2 brothers, Pete and Tommie; 2 half-sisters, Lillie Mae and Lucille.; William leaves cherished memories with his son, Richard A. Rard; daughter, Christine K. Thomas; grandchildren, Billy Teague, Tina Dube, Heather Rard, Tiffany Thomas, Garrin Rard, and Melissa Thomas; great grandchildren, Keyatta, Jaydon, Nicholas, Kaylee, Scotlyn, and Riley; and beloved friend, Eilane Wrenn and family.

Viewing will be 4-8 PM, Wednesday, June 29, at Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary 6934 S. Western Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 A.M, at St. James the Greater Catholic Church with burial following at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
