William A. Streets
William (Bill) Albert Streets entered his heavenly home on June18, 2026. He was born on December 25, 1928 to Thomas and Selma (Ray) Streets of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Bill had three children. Jody (Joe) Clay Streets and his wife Kayla of Eufaula, Oklahoma. Christopher William Streets and his wife Leslie of Oklahoma City. Sheryle Marie Ford and her husband Gordon Ford of Moore, Oklahoma. Bill was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Robert (Bob) Streets. His wife of 48 years, Rose Streets. Patrica Stone of Ada, Oklahoma. 19 years of marriage. He has 13 grandchildren. 3 great grandchildren. He had four great grandchildren while married to Patrica (Pat) Stone. He loved them all, as if they were his own children. Many nieces and nephews. Bill loved them all. He also has cousins from Illinois, the Gray sisters and family. They wrote back and forth frequently.
Bill and Bob had a tough youth growing up with a few years in the Catholic orphanage in Bethany, Oklahoma. Bill enterd the Army for 2 years. He worked for Acme plumbing and Paddock Pools. Bill and his brother Bob decided to start their own plumbing business in 1960. With little money between them, they made it work. Due to doing good work, being competitive and honest. We all know how they succeeded in this venture, as the name “Streets” in the mechanical industry is doing well, after 66 years of business. April 23, 2026, Bill received his 75 years of service pin and watch from the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 344, with great pride. Bill never met a stranger. If he did, they would be friends in minutes. He was loved by so many. He remembered dates, names, times that at his age was stunning. He would walk 2-3 miles on his treadmill. Get on his computer and play solitaire and check Facebook. He was truly an amazing man and will be missed. He was a faithful member, since 1960, of Saint Andrews Catholic Church in Moore, Oklahoma. Please join us for the celebration of his life on June 26, 2026 at 11:00 am at Saint Andrews Catholic Church. 800 N. W. 5th Street Moore, Oklahoma 73160.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bethany Children’s Health Center would be greatly appreciated. 6800 N. W. Expressway. Bethany, Oklahoma.
