William W. "Bill" Trice was born in Fort Worth, Texas on October 14, 1932, to Burton S. and Mamie E. Trice. He died in his home on September 17, 2015. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Joni Trice Key. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; three adult sons: Michael Trice, Parker, Colorado; Kelly Trice, Dallas, Texas; William Trice and his wife, Jacqueline, Aurora, Colorado; and two adult daughters, Melinda Trice Cappaert, Addison, Texas; and Toni Trice Sabatini,Oklahoma City. Bill is also survived by his brother, Ray North and his wife, Judy, Hurst, Texas; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, as well as David Sabatini, who is considered a member of the family. Bill was a Golden Gloves boxer in his youth, and he proudly served his country in the United States Navy. In the Navy, Bill continued boxing with the Navy team. Bill attended Texas Christian University and graduated from Oklahoma City University. He was employed by Civil Service and retired from Tinker Air Force Base. Bill's interests were golf, golf and more golf. He was a quiet man, and he will be remembered for his many kindnesses and his sense of humor. Viewing will be at the funeral home from 12-8 PM Sunday with the family greeting friends 3-5 PM Sunday. Services to celebrate his life are 10:00 AM Monday, Sept 21, 2015 at South Lakes Chapel.
