William E. Ware, Sr. (Bill) went home to his Heavenly Father on July 27, 2015 at the age of 93. Bill was born on September 18, 1921 in Longville, LA to William John and Pearl (Ramsey) Ware. His family moved to Oklahoma in 1930. He attended school in Minco, Oklahoma and worked on a farm. Bill met his wife, Ruth Wurst Ware at Armour & Co. where they both worked. It developed into Rockware International which refurbished power generation equipment in the US with exports to Central and South America. Bill enjoyed his time as a public servant serving as Chairman of the OKC Planning Commission and City Councilman in the 1960's. Bill loved and supported his church no matter where he lived – attending Kelham Baptist Church, serving as deacon at Trinity Baptist, and attending First Baptist Church of Delaware, AR and Quail Springs Baptist Church, OKC. In the last year he would always pray as you visited him and say "God bless all my children," which include Janice and Meredith Long, Bill, Jr. and Eda Beth Ware, Pam and Dennis Cotner, all of OKC; grandchildren Brad Long, Melinda and Mike Foreman, OKC; Jill and Jacob Tate – Allen, TX, Michael Ware - OKC; Christy and Paul Aposacas - Gilbert, AZ; and Jeff and Jessi Cotner - Vienna, VA and ten great grandchildren.
