Hayes, Wilma born January 5, 1927, left the loving hearts and arms of her family and entered those of her Heavenly Father on Friday, November 20, 2009. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Wilma lived a full and blessed life. She retired after a career as a surgical and head floor registered nurse at (the old) Wesley Hospital. During her career she was a wife, Mother and managed the family household. Proof positive of a true "Super Mom" before the term was ever coined! Wilma loved her sorority-Preceptor Alpha Beta and her chapter sisters, and was especially close to Gwen and Gale. She acquired 39 years of membership, had years of perfect attendance, hosted meetings, held a variety of offices w/in the chapter, attended conventions and sold her hand made badges. She was chosen Valentines Queen and was honored to be selected Woman of the Year-four times. Wilma was strong of spirit. She fought lymphoma cancer, twice, grieved the passing of her husband, the diagnosis of her grandson, a daughter serving in war, the brain surgery of another and still her spirit was unwavering. Above all she was "Mom" and "Gweema" and her presence in our lives will be deeply missed. "Heaven now has another bright star to light up the sky. We will hold you in our heart's forever."

• her husband, Ed Hayes.

She is survived by:

• her daughters, CH (LTC) Marti Hayes, Hawaii; Denise Rugg (William Rugg), Michigan and Barb Hayes of Tulsa.

• grandson, Daniel Hayes, Tulsa;

• brother, Robert (Mary) Mosley, Yukon; brother, Billy Mosley, Chicago, IL;

• brother in law, Lee Hayes, AK;

• life long friends, Jim, Karen & Chrissy White, OKC, Vickie Smith, Tulsa,

• her sisters of Preceptor Alpha Beta;

• and a host of loved nieces, nephews and friends.
