Obituary

Woodrow Howell Brumley, fondly known by "Woody" or "Hal", passed away suddenly at his home on May 30, 2020. He was born July 27, 1947 in Oklahoma City, OK to W.R. and Mary Louise (Grisham) Brumley. Hal graduated from Capitol Hill High School and spent a year at Central State University before he enlisted in the United States Army. On August 21, 1970 he married the love of his life, Patricia Wilson and the two shared a profound love for each other for nearly 50 years of marriage. After serving his country, Hal began working for Southwestern Bell and completed his degree in Business Management from Central State University. He worked for Southwestern Bell for 23 years and then he was the owner of his own landscape design business until his retirement. Hal enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, going to the lake, and working around the "farm". Those preceding him in death include his: Parents, WR & Mary Brumley Sister, Kathy Murphy Brother-in-Law, Greg Hollars Surviving are his: Wife, Patricia Daughter, Carri Ritz & husband Mark; Son, Bryan Brumley and wife Tammi; Grandchildren, Brooke Tatum, Emilie & Hanna Ritz, Jacob & Jackson Brumley Sister, Trisha Hollars and Sister and Brother in law, Pat & Joe Heistand and many greatly loved nieces and nephews that he considered his very own.
