IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Tatum Conner

Yvonne Josephine (Tatum) Conner
October 5, 1933 ~ May 13, 2025
Yvonne Josephine (Tatum) Conner was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at the age of 91. The daughter of Chloe Clementine and William Lindsey Baskett, Yvonne was born on October 5, 1933 in Goodwell, Oklahoma. As a young child Yvonne lived with her Grandparents Tom & Molly Hooley, growing up living and working, picking cotton on the family's farm in Gotebo, Oklahoma. She attended and graduated from Lake Valley School in 1951, where she played on the Lake Valley Basketball team throughout High School. A few years after graduation Yvonne moved to Oklahoma City and went to work for Eason Oil Company, and Norton Buick she soon met a handsome young man by the name of Dan W. (Buddy) Tatum and the two became inseparable. They were united in Holy Matrimony January 3, 1963. This union of marriage was blessed with 2 children, Aaron Shane & Dana Yvonne. Being a loving wife and devoted mother was the center of Yvonne's world. She dedicated her life to being whatever the family's needs required or requested of her. Their needs were at the forefront of her daily accomplishments. Her family filled her heart with abundant Love, Joy and Pride. At a young age, Yvonne accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at Sharon Baptist Church in Lake Valley, she was Baptized in the Washita River. She was very much an entrepreneur, she had many businesses throughout her life; from Beauty shops to Real Estate Brokerages, Jewelry shop to Child Daycare and many more. She was clothed with Christlike grace, dignity and honesty in all her dealings. Yvonne would light up a room with her smile, her laugh and her poise, and she was quite the dresser. The lasting impression she left with everyone she encountered would leave even the most downtrodden person with a glimpse of the unconditional love and compassion of Jesus Christ, and hope of better days to come. The legacy Yvonne instilled in her family will forever be cherished and continue to live on through the lives she most dearly loved, her family.
