Condolences

Condolence From: Rozanna Picantin
Condolence: Dearest Laura and Pete,
My heart reaches out to you for the loss of a great mother and friend. I didn't have the privilege to have met Gae while she visited with mom and dad her in Prunedale, but the stories dad had about Gae were wonderful ! She was truly a shinning star as far as dad goes, and mom said she was a lovely lady ! It's my loss not to have known her, I truly wish you Laura an easy mind; your mom is at the right hand of god and making him very happy right now. Your sis, Ro :)

Condolence: My prayers are with your family as you celebrate her life with all the people she touched with her kindness and sense of humor. She always opened her home to me. But more important was the love she showed to her family and friends. What a wonderful person Gae was.
Rudyard Kipling once said, "God couldn't be everywhere, so he made mothers."
Gae was the embodiment of that quote.
She was a rare combination of Erma Bombeck and Mother Teresa, which is a great, but unique mix.
I'll always have fond memories of her and her family. As I pray for you, please know that God is now smiling at Gae and saying, "Well done my servant, Gae." While she replies to Him, "Please call me Weenie."

Condolence: Elder Dieter Uchtdorf gave a talk entitled "of Regrets and Resolutions" which speaks of the important things of life: spending time with loved ones, becoming the person God wants us to be, and finding happiness regardless of our circumstances. Butus fulfilled all of these resolutions during her time on earth. She was a loving woman, full of life and joy. Our family adored her and we will miss her sweet spirit.

Condolence: Few people are lucky enough to have two mothers, but growing up in Bartlesville it was a rare day that my brother Phil and I didn't spend as much time with the Shepherd house as we did at our own. Gae never had a problem treating us like her own and in her house she WAS our Mom! Blessed with a great heart and sense of humor she is part of every childhood memory I have.

My deepest sympathy to Dan, Judy and Laura on your loss, but rest assured that a lot of people UP THERE are smiling right now!

Condolence: Dear Danny, Judy, Laura & Family. I'm so sorry to hear of Gae's passing. She was a beautiful, talented & spirited lady that I loved dearly. I spent many an afternoon helping her shop for clothing in the Womens Wear dept. at Montgomery Ward. She had an eye for beautiful clothing & I loved showing her the latest selections of things I knew she would enjoy wearing. As a Mother, she was so proud of all of her children. I know she will be greatly missed by each of you. I have all of you in my prayers & send my love. Ja Ella
