Betty, 89, was called to her Heavenly home April 21, 2013. She was born May 3, 1923 in Ardmore, OK to Thomas Edgar & Nina Amelia Garrison. In the 1940’s Betty attended OU and later finished her Associates Degree at Rose State College in the early 1980’s. She worked as a ward clerk for the VA Hospital for many years. In her spare time, Betty participated in several bridge clubs at the Woodson Senior Citizen Center and the Newcomers Bridge Club. Betty was an avid sports fan throughout her life, cheering for OU Sooner anything, Thunder Basketball, and even occasionally rooting for OSU with her family. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist of Moore but had most recently worshipped at the Glory Promise Center of Newcastle. Betty loved and enjoyed life to its fullest. Her most precious moments were those spent with her family & friends who will dearly miss her.
