Robert Allen Lawrence, a resident of Oklahoma City, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at the age of 80. Bob, as he was known, was born October 8, 1935 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to his parents, Edwin and Marie (Coxey) Lawrence. He worked for Wilson Foods for 35 years before retiring. He served his country 2 different times, having served in Korea and was recalled during national emergency, which was declared by Pres. Kennedy in the Berlin Crisis. He was married to his wife Nancy May (Ferrell) Lawrence for 51 years. Together, they loved traveling and saw all areas of the world. A longtime member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene, Bob did volunteer work planting flowers, maintaining the flowerbeds and was in charge of Mobile Meals and Love Link ministries. Bob also served as Vice President of his Homeowners Association and was in charge of the landscaping and performed many different tasks to keep the area looking nice. Bob enjoyed spoiling all the dogs in the area giving them treats. Bob was an avid golfer with a hole-in-one to his credit. He was a thoughtful, kind, hardworking family man who served the Lord and others with all of his heart. He will be deeply missed.

Wife, Nancy Lawrence;
Son, Greg Lawrence and his wife, Donna;
Daughter, Nannette Lawrence;
Grandsons: Spencer Lawrence, Jackson Lawrence, Nick Southerland, Kenny Southerland and his wife, Allison;
2 Great Grandchildren; Kade & Abigail Southerland
Sister, Rita Buford and her husband, Jim;
Brother, Jerry Lawrence and his wife, Barbara.
