Mona Lark (Milford) Snyder was born April 4, 1935 in Elk City, OK the daughter of Thurman Taft and Gladys Onita (Burnett) Milford. She completed this life on Tuesday, January 27, 2016 in Oklahoma City at the age of 80.

Mona married Gerald Royce “Jerry” Snyder on August 28, 1954 in Wilson, OK after meeting on a blind date while attending Oklahoma A.&M.. Mona was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. She was involved with the Kiwanis Wives, the Lazy Daisy Garden Club and the Church of Christ. She and Jerry enjoyed traveling particularly to their cabin in the Colorado Mountains.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jerry; her daughters, Janna Boyer and her husband John of Stillwater, OK, Gina Jessup and her husband Danny of Oklahoma City and Dia Detwiler and her husband Jeff of Piedmont, OK; her son, Kevin Snyder and his wife Melissa of Edmond, OK; her Grandchildren, Angela Slack, Natalie Winfree, Andrea Putthoff, Cassidy Jackson, Lacy Rowley, Amanda Mosshart, Kirsten Snyder, Lauren Snyder, Jennifer Snyder, Sheridan Snyder, Macy Snyder, Kayla Fultz, Chase Yager, Jacob Yager and Tresha Yager; her 9 great Grandchildren; her sister, Maurita Ammons and her husband Josh of Abilene, TX.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 30th in the Vondel Smith Mortuary North Chapel. Graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, OK.
