My Nephew, My Friend

The first time I really remember seeing Dale.....i was just marrying into the Womack Family...marrying Dale's Uncle Don Womack.

They lived in a very large home and I went there to see Marilyn.. Dale was a little boy. He had a haphazard cowboy hat, holster and play pistol, and cowboy boots. He was so cute. He had such a large smile and began interacting with me immediately.

Over the years, we would see each other at family functions. But the funnest times were when we would all be at Lake Texoma. We had a place and Dale and his parents had a place.

Dale loved , as in the footsteps of his father, Iman....loved to fish. He was a good fisherman and so kind and always wanted to include everyone.

After his father passed, Dale along with Diana and family, took really good care of his mother, Marilyn. They were very close and saw after her.

My heart goes out to Diana and her family for the loss of their mainstay....

My heart breaks for his mother, Marilyn Womack.

We will all miss Dale so much.....
