Visitation held 4-8PM on June 30, 2016 at the funeral home with family greeting guest from 6-8PM.

Services held 10AM on July 1, 2016 at Vondel Smith Mortuary South Lakes Chapel with burial following at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Dale, 59, born November 17, 1956 in Oklahoma City to Cleo and Virginia Sanders left this earthly life on June 29, 2016 after a five month battle with brain cancer. His first passion in life was his family. He was a wonderful husband to Ethel Sanders, wife and a proud dad to Justin Sanders, son. His second passion was driving truck for forty years. The last fourteen years was with his family at the Regional Foods Bank of Oklahoma. He thrived on delivering food to agencies to feed hungry people in fifty-three counties in Oklahoma. He had many friends including his church family at Hillcrest Presbyterian Church and special friends, J.P. Brehm, the Richard Greyson’s and Barbara Saulters. Memorial contributions may be made to Hillcrest Presbyterian Church, 6600 S Penn, OKC, OK 73159 or Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, P.O. Box 270968, OKC, OK 73137. Viewing will be at the funeral home from 4-8 PM Thursday with the family greeting friends 6-8 PM. Services to celebrate his life will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 1, 2016 at the South Lakes Chapel.
