Betty (Myers) Watson died peacefully at home on August 23, 2016 at the age of 92. She was born on April 30, 1924 in Tonkawa, Ok and moved to Oklahoma City as a young girl. She was a graduate of Capitol Hill High School.
Betty became the devoted wife of Clifford Watson on July 4, 1946. She was a loving mother, caregiver to ill family members, and wonderful cook. She enjoyed family camping trips at the lake, attending school activities and sporting events of her grandchildren, and working in her yard. Betty was also an avid OSU fan.
She is survived by sons, Neal Watson of OKC, and Larry Watson and wife, Gina of Moore; daughter, Deborah Nusz of OKC; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by husband, Clifford; son, Michael Watson; and daughter-in-law, Cathy Watson.
Viewing will be 4-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Services to celebrate her life will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, Aug 26, 2016 at the South Colonial Chapel. Friends may leave condolences for the family on this page.
