Michael David Morgan departed this earthly life on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the age of 28. He was born October 3, 1988 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to his parents, David Wayne and Mary Dian (Baker) Morgan. His parents raised Michael and his sister Michelle in the South OKC area. Growing up, Michael was very involved in sports. He was a great athlete and played almost any sport, but his favorites were football, baseball and basketball. He played high school football and baseball during his years at Westmoore High School and made lasting friendships with his teammates and coaches. Michael graduated in 2007. In 2009, Michael enlisted in the United States Army. Michael was deployed to Iraq just a few weeks after basic training but returned home safely unharmed within a year. His time in the Army may have changed his views, opinions and personality a bit, but Michael never lost his love for sports and movies. He loved watching almost any type of movies but his favorites were action/thriller films. Michael was a very likeable person and could make an instant connection with almost anyone he would meet. Michael was always the life of the party and was just overall a people person. From when he was younger and through adulthood, Michael was known jokingly to friends as “Mike Morgan the Weatherman” and was never able to escape that nickname. Michael was a “jack of all trades” so to speak. He worked for Apex for nearly 2 years and also worked for Ace Hardware. Most recently, Michael had been driving for Uber and his likeable personality made that a very easy task. Michael had experienced a lot of pain and personal hardships but is now free of it all. Although Michael is gone, his memory will live on through his family and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his:

He is survived by his:
Parents, David and Mary Morgan of Oklahoma City;
