Condolence From: Gerald Graham

Condolence: I am so sorry to learn of Porky's passing. Since I was a boy, Porky was a larger than life figure for me. I have so many wonderful memories of time spent with Porky and Mary. Porky was a tremendous influence on me; I always wanted to be like Porky Smith. He was happy, fun to be around, gave freely of his love and time. He is the primary reason I aspired to work at Conoco in Ponca City where he worked for so long, following in his footsteps; he put in a good word for me and I worked there for 35 years. I never went fishing but what I thought of Porky! Porky, thank you for your example, the inspiration you provided, and all the memories of vacations, Falls Creek, holiday celebrations, and church youth activities. I love you still and will never forget you. Mary and Terry, my heart mourns with you at the loss of your beloved husband and father.
