Teresa Hatley-Knippers, lovingly known as “Terry” by her family and friends, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the age of 63. Terry was born February 6, 1953 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to her parents, Norma Lee (Johnson) and Melvin Early Hatley, Sr. Raised in the Oklahoma City area, Terry graduated from the Putnam City High School in 1971 before continuing her education at Southern Nazarene University. On October 10, 2015, Terry married Shural George Knippers in Oklahoma City. Terry was a longtime employee of the State of Oklahoma Health Department, where she worked in the Vital Statistics Department. Terry will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, daughter, sister and friend and for her unwavering commitment to her family. She was especially excited when new arrivals to the family came and found great joy in caring for them as her own. In addition, Terry thoroughly enjoyed tending to her flowers and landscape at her home. She will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her:
Paternal Grandparents: Earl and Lucille Hatley;
Maternal Grandparents: Roscoe and Wanda Johnson;
Uncle, Gary Don Hatley;
Father, Melvin E. Hatley, Sr.
