The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Sybil Jennings can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Vicki Clark

There are people that God puts on this planet that we know are "one of a kind". Our sweet Sybil was one of those people. Her personality and loving heart blessed everyone around her. She and Walt loved their family more than anything and adopted us nieces and nephews as their own. You knew the minute you walked in their door that there would be a root beer in the fridge and an "ole sandwich" as she would put it, as well as any other treat you wanted from her kitchen. She lived for the holidays and any family function. We will look back on those times with hearts swelled with joy. Her laugh, her home, her heart, and her food. And, boy could she cook! Lucky for us, she happily shared her recipes that will be cherished forever. I don't think she ever realized how much of a one of a kind soul that she was. To her, she was just being her. She is especially joyful tonight because she is where she has wanted to be for a long time. Reunited with her loving Walt and other family and friends before her, with her Heavenly Father. No more sorrow and no more pain. So, on a day of airport shootings, bad weather, and political rock throwing, we are sad for an entirely different reason. The world has lost a one of a kind.
