John Perry Roush was born October 18, 1934 in Carmen, Oklahoma the son of Homer J. and Fern (Berry) Roush. He completed this life on Friday, March 10th, 2017 in Bethany, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years.

John retired as the assistant Fire Chief for Cedar Lake, Oklahoma and was also a heavy equipment operator. John served his country during the Korean Conflict serving in the United State Marine Corp.

John married Imogene Ann Sykora. They were members of Crown Heights United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Young Men’s Club, Revelers and Regency.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Imogene on February 13, 2011; his twin brother, Don Roush and his brother, Jerry Roush.

He is survived by his brother, Gary Roush and his wife Dawn; his sister-in-law, Mrs. Don Roush; his niece, Roberta “Robi” Colbert; as well as other nieces, nephews and relatives.
